Calibration

Phone mics are not sound meters, so readings are estimates. While people talk at a normal volume, tap "This is normal talk" to set the reading to about 60.

Keep this screen open while it runs. Most phones pause the microphone when the browser is in the background or the screen locks. The meter ignores its own shush so it does not trigger itself.
